Habitat Global Village 2019 Upgrades Area 1

Near San Juan Argueta Guatemala – 2019. In addition to building houses for families in need, Habitat for Humanity Guatemala works to improve the quality of life for Guatemalan families by providing sanitary latrines, smokeless stoves and water filters. Each day of our build several members of the team went to a rural farming community near the town of San Juan Argueta and built a latrine and stove for a family. I’m sure that there are not many families in Canada who would consider these as life improving amenities.
